That ok then, I thought for a minute that I was stating the obvious. Well, it is obvious to us who have been doing it for a while. Over 20 years on and off in my case

Stick a stamped addressed envelope in with it as well, they like that. Also, dont worry about the numbers, as they dont apply to the local register office. Just give them the year and the quarter as stated and both the names, and that it is a marriage certificate you want.

I am just looking on 1837 for it. If you get the marriage certificate, it should tell you his age when he married.

My names are Smith, Lawrence, Croft and French and are mainly from Merseyside. One of the ones I'm stuck on is John Lawrence, married Charlotte Hopper in 1876 in Warwick but I haven't got a clue when or where he was born or how to find out, Thick eh??

Hi people, Does anyone know any census records that are available by purchasing vouchers?? I have vouchers for 1901 but need earlier records and dont have a credit card. Any addresses you can help me with would be much appreciated, I have two very young kids and can't physically get out to library's etc at the moment. I've only just started my tree and I am drawing blanks already. Thanks Wendy
