Could this be him: RICHARD WAGSTAFF MOON Male Event(s): Birth: Christening: 10 JUL 1842 Nuneaton, Warwick, England Death: 04 MAY 1843 Burial: Parents: Father: RICHARD MOON Family Mother: SOPHIA If so, he didn't live long enough to marry anyone. Perhaps they had another son and gave him the same name though. Jan

I discovered yesterday that my GG Grandmother Susannah Moon (b. Padbury 1844) m. (1st) Henry Moon( my GG Grandfather) . She secondly appears to have married his brother Richard Wagstaff Moon (b. 1854/55 in Nuneaton) in 1887. This rang a very distant bell & a story my Gran told me about one of my relatives secondly marrying & he was such a scoundrel that her sons paid him off & he emigrated to US. This could be the one. Susanna (h) is on the 1901 census as a widow & I find no record of Richard's death on bmd. Where can I find out if he emigrated (the period would be 1891- 1901 - He's on the 1891 census Any tips v gratefully received. Caroline
