The mail server being down on FreeBMD should not affect searches and other functionality. Genevieve, try accessing it early in the morning or late at night when it's a lot faster. Error messages tend to appear when it's busy. Crista |

Well that is a relief, I signed up to be a transcriber and have been unable to download the index I have been allocated, but I won't hold my breath I have never been on FreeBMD for more than one search before it crashes me, usually just as I am getting somewhere and when I do get back on I have forgotten my thread of thinking. My kids tell me I am going senile but I put it down to error messages, Gen |

FreeBMD still have a mailing list server undergoing maintenance which is causing all the problems. However I just managed to get into FreeBMD before it crashed on me and the latest message today states "latest estimated time for fix is late Wednesday, 15th October (if all testing goes well)." Kathy |
