Hi, If they were born in the Parish in which they married you may find their baptisms there. Sometimes the father's occupatio is given at the baptism of his children. If the Parish records have been filmed by the LDS you can order the parish records at one of their centres for a small fee. The occupation is sometimes given on the burial record. It is worth checking any parish chest papers for apprenticeship papers and settlements. If they were tenants of a Manor they may appear in the Manor books. If these survive they will be in the County record office. Hope this helps, Gwynne
