Took the plunge anyway and found the entry for the divorce in 1872 so quite chuffed!

Hi Helen I want to look up a Death at sea but that is all I need ,and for £6 and if it turned out to be the wrong one, its going to be expensive, will be better when they add other things, but the £6 only lasts for 1 month I think. Anyone got any running out for us please Joan

Hi Joan The result came back as John Bostock Litherland. He died 25/03/87 and was aged 50. If this is the gentleman you are looking for, please let me know and I will copy and e-mail you the document and then you can print it off for your records. Helen

Helen, I hope you don't mind my asking but have you any more spare credits for looking up a death at sea? I think my gt gt grandfather may have died at sea. His wife remarried in 1891 but I can't find his death in the indexes. He was a mariner and his name was William John Lindon (or Linden) and he must have died between 1888 and 1891. He was born about 1858. Many thanks, Lilian

I have a login for free searches, but haven`t found anything of interest yet. They seem to be adding different things all the time, so just a case of keeping an eye on it.

Hi Lilian Searched for your gt gt grandfather but records only go up to 1890. Only result I found was W F Linden and he died at the age of about 26 years old on 16.3.90 from Remittent Fever. He is listed as British and a Clerk. I don't know if this is any use to you as the middle initial is different but could be a clerical error. If you want me to copy document and send it to you, just let me know! Helen
