Original Added by Keely Horton on 25/09/2003 15:25:27 Ships in port UK 1881 I just came across this website. It has got hypertext links to ships which were in port during 1881 around UK. It gives the name of the vessel and the list of names aboard with age. There is quite a long list! www.angelfire.com/de/BobSanders/81Intro.html Regards Margaret

Eileen to check a thread.Click on the very first message and at the top along the address starts with http,at the end it has =307385.doulble click mouse, first click highlights, second takes that away so you then backspace and enter the thread number that you want. This takes you straight to it.I do this as the messages are so fast at disappearing.I write down all the numbers and then reply,it means the next time I'm not trying to find the thread.I just key in the number at the top. You need all the web address www(.)angelfire(.)com/de/BobSanders/81Intro.html Mary

Hello everyone, Can some kind soul in Scotland please, please help me, i am trying to find a death at sea between 1881-1885 for a William Hamson he was on board the Berengaria of Greenock. This was a sailing ship belonging to John Hendry also of greenock, built at Glasgow in 1874. This is my last hope as i have been to the FRC and have paid a researcher at Kew to no avail. thanks in advance Eileen
