Hi Gwynn The family records centre near me won't order anything for the next few weeks as they are moving. Guaess I will just have to wait.

Hi, The LDS have filmed all fo the censuses 1841 - 1891. You can order the parish you need (for a small fee) at any LDS centre and search it there. If there is no index then it can take quite a while. Hope this helps, Gwynne

hi teresa i have tried to find a 1871 census ,but no joy, i wonder if you look for meresborough historical soc, if there is they may help marcie

Teresa, Cannot help you at the moment as I am off to Italy for a few days, but I live just down the Road from Meresborough. If you have nfound any info by wednesday, please email me and I wil try to help you, perhaps look at Parish records or something. Lynda

Hello Everyone; Its 1 am for me and a lot of you are just getting up so before I head for bed heres my question. If someone has the 1871 census for Kent could you please look up Thomas and Eliza Boakes with probably around 6 children at that time. I don't know if the 1871 is indexed but the address I have for the 1881 census is 11 Cottage Meresborough Rainham, Kent. Some of the childrens names are Alfred, Bertha, Thomas and Elizabeth. Anything you could find would be wonderful.
