If anyone has this on disc could they take a look for me? Im looking for John Thompson born 1842 in Newcastle, married to Isabella and who's daughter Mary Jane was born 1880 in Stockton, Iv tried the Family Search site but cant find them there, I wondered if they might have been missed off? Have any of you found this ? Thanks to anyone who can help Claire

Claire Found them on the disc, don't know about the website as I can't get on it at the moment. PRO ref RG11 Piece 4911 Folio 147 Page 27 8 Thorne St, Stanton, Durham John Thompson head age 34 born So Stockton, Durham a labourer at a pottery ( don't know what So in front of Stockton means) Isabella wife age 36 born Ireland Henry son age 15 born Newcastle an apprentice potter Elizabeth A daughter age 7 born Stockton John J son age 5 born Stockton Mary J daughter age 1 born Stockton Margaret

Claire Just managed to get on the census website, they are on there. I did the search for Mary J Thompson age 1 born Stockton Margaret

Hi The So in front of Stockton is for South,Which is part of Thornaby. Chris
