I would suggest you try the Notts. Family History Society - www.nottsfhs.org.uk I managed to obtain from them a copy of the Nottm. 1841 census which concentrated on the one surname I asked for. Give it a try, because there might be other avenues here if you are looking for family in the Notts. area. Sheila
