Tracy, the area is Central London. She was born 1812 and died 1898 but as I do not know what the items refer to (wedding, obituary etc) I cannot be specific with the date. Charles

Tracy Pritchard - thank you for your kind offer. All I did was enter "Mary Ann Perrins Bass" and it said that there were 11 entries in Newspapers. What Further information would you need? Charles

Ancestry dot com tells me that there are 11 references to my GGrandmother (Mary Ann Perrins Bass) who lived in London in the mid 1800's, in newspapers of the time. Unfortunately I am not in a position to subscribe, or even to accept their free trial, so can anyone help please with alternative free sites that I may find the information? Many thanks, Charles.
