Sorry, Guys ... bit of a cock up ... my 1841 is for a specific area of Lancs not the whole of it (no wonder I can't find people ...) I may have tracked down the 1861 and will let you know if and when I order it. Sorry once again!

Hi everyone, Thanks for the info. Lesley, I don't know where John was living, just that he was born c1820 in Bolton le moors i think. Seems like his children were born in Manchester . On WWW.lancslist.com there are people who have access to 1861 census but there again it's not indexed and it may take awhile before they find anyone. Haven't had any luck on information for 1851, 61 or 71 census and i'm a bit stuck without it! I'll keep trying though, Thanks again, Karen

I have an 1841 for Lancs, but it's not indexed ... do you have any idea where John and Ann may have been living? As far as I know there is no other Lancashire census available in full ... if you know of one please let me know as I NEED IT!! Also have access to 1891 if you need any lookups.
