Seems to be like those swear word detectors, that won`t allow Scunthorpe. I have given up trying, I just email it to the questioner.

KEITH. If GC states :- "Email addresses and website addresses are not to be displayed on the site". How come we have to put up with those flashing Adverts which clearly show the full web site address. ? ? MIKE.

They used to say "pass any useful websites to us and we will put them on favourites" I can understand why people shouldn't put e mail addresses on but don't understand the block on web sites. Unless it is professional jealousy. Ann Glos

Judith, no reason given which is why I'm disgruntled. Rosemary. My point exactly, as made to them but not answered in their reply. I was trying to pass on to a member an address which I had got off the board the day before and the little b!!**s kept deleting the com bit. After note, see they've done it again they won't print the Charlie Oscar Mike word

If they won't allow website addresses on here how is it that I have been able to write down addresses of websites that people have posted on here.

I didn't realise that we're not supposed to put email addresses and website addresses on here. Email addresses, that I can understand, but what's wrong with putting websites? Did they give a reason? Judith

I tried the other night to pass a useful website to a questioner but the address wouldn't transcribe correctly. I,ve just been informed by GC Support that the terms and conditions of the GC Site state "Email addresses and website addresses are not to be displayed on the site". It seems to me that quite a lot of our traffic is illegal in this case, and I can't see why they shouldn't be displayed as we are supposed to be on here to help each other. What say you all? Keith
