Hi Michelle I have checked the 1881 census and could not find them. Ilooked up Albert and the only on was living in surrey. There was very few Kirchers on the 1881 index but there were several Kerchers on it. Could they have spelt their name that way. More info on dates of birth may help someone track them down. Jane

I am trying to trace my great grandfather's birth and the rest of his family. So far I have been unsuccessful. William Kircher born circa 1883. Married Mary Lilian Carter in 1923 Died in Portsmouth 1941. Father John Kircher Siblings Elizabeth, Mary and Albert I have checked freebmd, 1901 census, LDS and I have spent hours checking the records at the Family Records Centre. I have certificates for the marriage and death. He is not the William Henry Kircher listed as being born in 1886 in Portsea. My Nan believes he lived in the Wimbledon area before moving to Portsmouth. Any help will be gratefully appreciated. Michelle
