Before this site was re-vamped I could type in a surname and view the entire data base for that name, but I can't seem to do that now, or am I doing something wrong. Please help Kim

Still does it for me I used the quick search option over there on the right.

I have used the quick search on the right, but one surname I put in it came up with 1400 names, and said to narrow the search. Before it would come up with them althabetically and you could trawl through them. why has everything got to change? why cant things stay as they are? I absolutely hate this site now, and have you notices there is only a handful of people talk on the members board now. everything takes too long to get to you have to go back to the message boards each time. sorry for babbling on I just felt like a bit of a moan. Debbie, Can I moan with you, you're right. What am I going to do now? there are 4240 Walton's on there, and as you say, you use to able to plough thru alphabetically, but quite often people do not put counties (I for one was guilty of that so I went through mine and changed them) so I would sit for ages reading all the Walton's. I ditto your comment, why do things have to change? Kim

You can stilll use the alphabetical system. Go to names summary, then your names, then click on the surname you want to look at, then choose Forenames, then bingo you are there. Failing that use Quick search. Fiona

Fiona That is one of the problems I know you can go to names summary and go through the alphabet that way. but I used to like just to put a surname in and see what it came up with but now the quick search wont display a lot of names just with the surname alone. and to go to all these seperate boards each time is a right pain If they had left it how it was we wouldnt be moaning.
