Hi Thank you everyone for your help. I downloaded adobe reader 5.0 and I was able to read everything I wanted to. Teresa.

Hi Teresa, Did you solve your problem with Acrobat? After posting your message, thought I would check out gazettes online, only to find I had the same problem, even though I have v5 already installed! It says you need v4 or above, so should have been ok. I have now downloaded v6 from their site and everything is running aok. Debbie

Teresa I think that you may not have Acrobat reader on your PC and may not be able to read PDFs because of this. If you went to google and searched you may be able to find a download. Out of interest, where can I find the London Gazette on line? Neil

Hi, I was looking on the London Gazette online and found an ancester mentioned in there in 1915. The trouble is that it is in PDF format, so I can't read it. Ive tried downloading the viewer connected with this site but it wont download! Ive noticed that a lot of other sites include the PDF format. Any ideas anyone? Many thanks in advance. Teresa.
