Have found them on the 1891 census: Thomas WAGG, head, married, aged 27, occupation: printers compositor, born Nottingham Kate WAGG, wife, married, 31, Nottingham Frances WAGG, daughter, 5, scholar, Nottingham Kate WAGG, daughter, 2, Nottingham Alice WAGG, daughter, 6 months, Nottingham living at 13 Nelson Street, St. Marys, Nottingham

Hi If you visit the mormon site .. family search.org and select the 1881 british census, type in tom wagg, birth county nottingham and birth date 1864 .. you might see something interesting! Ditto freebmd.rootsweb.com .. marriages 1884 for Tom wagg. (Kate Chapman is on 1881 census as well). You'd need a copy of the marriage certificate to confirm this is the spouse of Tom. With the freebmd info one way you can order uk certificates is on line, if you are a UK resident, from ons(dot)at (dot) statistics.gov.uk A

Depends where you want to go from here. You have their ages, so that will give you year or birth, could be a year either side. Obtain birth certificate, and go further back.

using the 1901 census and info from my late grandfather, i have found my g.g. granparents and their children: Kate Wagg Sr. 41, bn. Nottingham Tom Wagg sr. 37, bn Notts Alice, 10, bn, Nottingham Nellie, 7, bn. Nottingham, Kate jr. 12, bn. nottingham, Annie, 5, Nottingham, and Ethel and Tom jr (not born in 1901) Frances Wagg- 15, bn. Nottingham, Lace Pattern Girl (married my grandpa's father- Albert Enderby, 16 in 1901, bn. Nottingham) What else can i find out from a 1891 census search or anything else?? Any help gratefully received!!, Nicola
