Hi Wendy, Not sure if this helps but your Ann Briggs/Quinn married in Stockport June quarter to John Briggs 8A/18. So she must have been widowed between 1870 and 1873ish. The only deaths for male Quinns are Thomas 36 Michael 55 John 60 William 65 They are all in the Cheshire area but then again he may not have died in Cheshire. Hope this narrows down your search. Just out of interest did Sarah Ann go on to marry Samuel Thomas, she was the only one I could find who matched the age and area of birth? Good luck Gen |

The above person married a lady called Ann who appears to have remarried in 1871. (Ann Briggs) Ann was born in 1825 in Compsall. Ann and nameless grandfather had three children: Sarah Ann b 1851 Eliza b 1865 Joshua b 1870 (my gr gr Grandfather) Can any one help with a name? Thanks |
