Kim I think you will find that Islington comes under London census. I have the1851 census for London and that covers the Islington area, it's where I come from. Lynda

Lynda, You little gem! I thought I was asking the impossible with 1861, but if you could look them up that would be fantastic, I have come to a brickwall so any info I would relish. Cheers Kim

Kim, Don't know if you know this or not, but 1851 is a Street index only, and Marylebone is listed under Marylebone and Islington is listed under...Islington, have looked under both and cannot find a Great Quebec Street, perhaps it was not built in 1851, sorry. Also although It is called the London census, you were right it is in the Middlesex Borough. confusing eh? I am doing a few looks ups, so will write you on my list in case I come across Great Quebec Street, you never know it could come under another Borough, if it was on a boundary. Lynda
