With previous versions of AOL, javascript has created problems for AOL users. AOL use a modified version of Internet Explorer. If you wish you can install the proper version of IE6 from the microsoft website - or from cds on the cover of PC mags. This would cause less problems. But maybe AOL have sorted this in their latest release and it just needs to be enabled. If you do a search on Google with 'AOL javascript problems' there is a long history.

Hi John I dont have AOL but this is the info I found on Google. Please tell us if it still doesnt work. DId you get to Bradford in the end? Thanks for your help with the Births Marriaegs and deaths - they do have them at Bradford - 5th floor! Regards Richard How do I enable JavaScript in AOL? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To enable JavaScript in America Online (AOL), perform the following steps: From America Online's My AOL menu, click Preferences. Within the Preferences window, click WWW. Within the AOL Internet Properties window, from the Security tab, click Custom Level. Note: From the Security tab, the Internet icon is highlighted by default. Within the Security Settings window, scroll to Scripting of Java applets. Click to select Enable. To close the Security Settings window, click OK. Click Apply. To close the AOL Internet Properties window, click OK. Close the Preferences window. Note: Your browser stores many of its settings. The best way to ensure changes take effect is to close America Online completely and then restart it.

Sorry to put this on here but I am desperate. There seem to be 1 or 2 computer buffs on here. How do I turn Javascript on/off? I am on AOL and it seems to be a different browser. Thanks, John
