George was from Ashwick and a coalminer, Elizabeth from Radstock. Their children were Albert b.1871, Lilly b.1875 Henry b.1876 The eldest girl was Clara A. (possibly Perkins as born before the marriage) There was a grandson called Jesse Perkins who would be about 10. No problem if you can't find them. Marion |

Hi Lucy, If the 1881 census is anyting to go by George would be 60 and Elizabeth 65, but age given on the marriage certificate would make her 58. I think she may have tried to make herself younger being a widow on her second marriage. Marion |

If anyone has the time and access to 1891 I am looking for George and Elizabeth CHAPMAN from Ashwick Som. to see where they are living and who has been added to their family since 1881 (or lost! ) Many thanks in advance for time taken. Marion |
