It could be worth contacting the person who put the entry on the site. So many children seem to be named after their parents and even aunts and uncles. Nothing to lose by making contact and lots to gain! Jacky

I noticed someone has a Lilian Maud Wakeham in their tree, as do I. My first thought was 'yay', until I realised their was born 1913 and mine was 1880. Could be named after mine, I suppose, but it is a long shot.

Twas a coincidence after all. Oh well, back to the research.

Although I have plenty of Fredericks, Francis, Frances and Franks, my Bakers were in the north of England - starting in the Barnard Castle area in the 1790s, then stretching to both the east and west coasts by 1900. And although my Great Grandfather married a London girl in 1906 in West Ham, the first southern Baker wasn't born in the south of England until 1938.

BAKER - probably from London - maybe Clapham / Lambeth area. Married into the family. Fred - had 6 children. Jacky

Out of interest, what are the surnames? If its Smith, Brown and Jones, my bet its that woman with a million names in her tree.

I have just checked the names summary for today and find that 3 names in my tree have been entered by the same person and they are names that run on one family line. When I received confirmation of contact with this person, I find that his surname is also one of my names! Surely it can't be someone else with 5000 in their tree and hundreds of names. I hope this contact replies! Jacky
