Hi Jane, Some are transcriptions from parish records that they have done themselves. Others are provided by people from their family trees. Debbie

Once again, just a reminder that the IGI is neither complete nor 100% accurate. All information obtained from it should be either double checked with the original records or reconfirmed from another source. Maz. XX

Hi Marion Thats the problem the information on the IGI seems correct but i am unable to prove it as i can't find the Birth certificate. I don't know what to do next. Jane

Best thing is to see if you can find the original parish records - if you can't get to the record office then your local LDS (Mormon) Family History Centre can order records in for you for a small fee. Have a look at the FamilySearch website and follow links from there to find out more. Good luck. Maz. XX
