I have a relative Harry Turner that died in an accident in 1947 or 1948 he was involved in an accident at Nechells Gas Works Birmingham, he was 47 when he died. I have tried looking for Newspaper articles relating to this but to no avail, I would appreciate any info that may assist my quest.

Hello Patricia Have you tried looking into an inquest report? You can write to the Coroners office Birmingham if you know the date and name. I can give you the address if you would like it. The report is £7.70 Shirley
