Member Since: July 2003 Posts: 126 Send Message	1901 Scottish Census 13,001 husbands absent from Scotland on the night of the census. 13,194 people lived in asylums as lunatics or imbeciles. The marriage beween one male and one female lunatic had occured before they had reached the age of 20. The legal age for marriages was 12 years for a girl and 14 for a boy. Just thought you might like a bit of useless information this morning. May
