Surrey and Wiltshire will sell copies but Berkshire won't. I wonder why some do and some don't? Berkshire says it's because of copyright laws. Judith

Some counties won't supply, Derbyshire is one and Nottinghamshire say that they only supply to family history societies. Staffordshire, Suffolk, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire county record offices are happy to help. Haven't tried any others yet. Also replied to your post on guest book, different message though. I've just found out you can sometimes buy parish registers from Record Offices ... you may have to write to the incumbent of the parish to get written permission but it's worth a try. Start by contacting the local record office for the parish you're looking for.
