Lynne Don't know about the odds - suppose it depends on how 'common' your surnames are. As for the repeated names and dates then perhaps it was an input error. I know my sister discovered this site before I did and entered my mum severel times before deciding it was too difficult and never visiting the site again! Regards Jeanette

My Grandfather was one of 10 and so far there are grandchildren from 4 them. All of us on GC. It would be very nice to contact a grandchild from the other 6! It has been great exchanging info and knowing we have the same photo of our G. Granfather taken about 100 years ago. Jacky

Hi lynne, I found someone researching the same names as me. It turned out her grandfather and my grandmother were brother and sister so I guess that makes us second cousins (I think) May

Have you tried emailing them? I hope it's not me,some of my people got added twice [don't ask me why!!!] and one four times! I can't delete them because they have spouses and children and things.

What are the odds on someone on this site having four surnames in common with me? Also when I do a search this person has lots of names (and dates) repeated. I am wondering if they have just made them up. Anyone have any ideas?
