John Did you remember to put the asterisk in the forename box? It won't work on the surname alone. Perhaps your surname is extremely unusual and there isn't anyone else registered?! Janet |

I do this with all my names from time to time to check if any new ones have turned up. It is always worth a try and I have had a few hits. A lot of people don't think to try it. |

Hvae already done this, and found 3 people I might like to contact. But my Friends Reunited subscription has expired, and am not sure I want to pay to renew it. Good idea of yours though |

Most of you will probably already know about this trick, but I didn't! So, just in case you don't know either, and you have an unusual or even unique surname, (and I know from previous threads that there are quite a few of us about), here goes:- Go to the Friends Reunited website, and click on 'Name Search'. Insert your unusual surname in the surname box, and in the forename box, just put * It then comes up with everyone with your unusual surname that have registered on the site. I found a couple of new leads in my search for living cousins. Good Luck Janet |
