Hi Does anyone know of any good websites I could use to find this information out. I tried the NRM in York, and then didn't turn up much. I would dearly love to know what my GGrandfather used to do, as he had dress uniform for the Epsom Derby. He was a signal man at Coulsdon, but made inspector......but whether it was station or not I don't know. Kew is not possible for me at the moment (kiddliplunks!) so I am doing a lot of my research online. Many Thanks Kaye

Hi Kaye You may have to try the PRO at Kew that is where someone advised me to ask or look at as my Gt Granda was killed on the railway but I have'nt looked yet but in the near future I may ask my Nephew who lives near Kew to go and do a look up for me. Ann,Darlington

Thanks for the link to the site I will go and have a browse. Ann when you go to Kew or I get there, let me know what you need looking up, I am only 50mins from Kew by train, but as my youngest is 4 its not a good possibility until after Easter next yr, when she will be at School full time!! Kaye

I know, I know, but when shes only out for 2hrs every am at the moment doing anything is impossible. If the train runs 5mins late I will be completely scuppered!! I must admit, having got one into Junior School on Thurs. I was quite emotional which I didn't expect, so next time it'll be worse. What happens to babies? LOL!! Kaye
