My grandmothers maiden name was Luttman her name was Maud Ethel Hemmings nee Luttman Born 19/1/1900, she married Percy Edmond Hemmings on 16/11/1929 they had 2 children Audrey Jean and Eric Percy. Maud brothers and Sisters were Stephen,Charles,William,Rose and Agnes. Anyone knowing anything to help with my family tree please contact me.

Sharon Here's a starter for you. Found Maud Ethel Luttman Born Woolwich March Quarter 1900 Vol1d P.1306 on Free BMD - see Links to the left of this page. Depending on birth dates you may also find Stephen, Charles, William, Rose, Agnes and Percy Hemmings here - the site only goes up to about 1902 and isn't fully transcribed yet. For the marriage of Maud and Percy and the births of Audrey and Eric you can go to 1837 online - see Links also. When asking for help on the tips board it is a good idea to give as much info as possible including dates, places etc. Hope this helps and don't be afraid to post another message on the board if you need any more help Jeanette

I used to live in a village just outside Hastings, East Sussex, and I'm sure a family of Luttmans lived there. Jan.
