For anything relating to glass try sending and SAE and details to Brian Hardyman, 6 Beeforth Close, New Earswick, York YO32 4DF. For the others send SAE to George Nicolle, 33 Torr Road, Hartley, Plymouth PL3 5TF - this is the Trades and Skilled Occupations index - he may be able to point you in the right direction. HTH. Maz. It's a bit of a long shot but if you have nothing else to try, it may be worth trying "Ask Jeeves". Just type in "Businesses in London" or some such or relevant words and see what it comes up with - or Google Search. Sorry I can't be of more help - this is my amateur way of doing research when I am stuck. I have had quite a few hits with it though so, whilst it takes time, it usually pays off. Good luck with your search.

HI Does anyone know of a site that can give me some information on the business enterprises of two of my relatives. One was the owner of a glass blowing or bottlemaking factory in the London area and the other was was involved in the origination of the tiled surround and marble bath panels. Both around the early 1900s Tricia
