Shirley Thanks for the links to these very interesting sites. I am particularly interested in the Alan Godfrey maps. Think they could be very useful to me, once I decide which ones I need! Janet

I can tell you that chapelbooks is good. A new found cousin of mine contacted chapel books and got hold of a prosecution brief of a case in which one of our ancestors was involved with. If you email him he'll tell you if he has anything of use to you. George

I received this catalogue today which seems promising Old Ordnance Survey Maps £2.10 each plus postage www(.)alangodfreymaps(.)co(.)uk turn of the century maps. It says the maps are so detailed that virtually every house is shown. Complete track layout of railways and tramways. widely used by genealogist and local historians. I am going to send for some I will let you know Mary what they are like. A GC member put this website address up last week so thanks to her and not me. Shirley
