Would anyone be able to look up the 8 people on the 1891 with the forename Marriner and see if they might fit in for my Marriner Adamthwaite born in London. I have conflicting ages for him ranging from beinng born in 1852 to 1863. I've looked for Adamthwaites before when I had 1891 access with little luck - so his surname is probably spelt wrong. Thanks in advance Zoe SCO

Zoe, I'd advise you to join the [email protected] mailing list. They did lookups for me on the 1891 & 1901 censuses. To do so send an email to: [email protected] In the subject and body type the only word: subscribe Zona

Crikey, you've all been chatty this weekend. Took me ages to find this again. Thanks all for your help and suggestions. I found Marriner on the 1901 and yes he's my one. I was hoping that finding him on the 1891 might help me find the rest of the family. Rose - if you wouldn't mind sending me the Adamthwaites you have I can compare them. I found a whole new branch since I had my ancestry free trial so some of them may be mine now. Thanks again everyone. Yours (desperate for santa to bring me my ancestry subs) Zoe
