Hi Joan In 1896 it was apparently in Yorkshire. I can only assume there have been a number of boundary changes over the years. Thanks for replying. Terry

Terry. Shirebrook is in Derbyshire now. It is very near to Nottinghamshire though. But we all know how things have changed over the years. Sarah.

I've found a couple of rellies today, one born Shirebrook Yorkshire one born Shirebrook Derbyshire There also appears to be another Shirebrook in Nottinghamshire - according to Yahoo. Is anyone able to throw any light on the subject. Terry - Gibraltar
