I had a relative missing on the night of the 1891 census and know he was around later. Someone found him for me on the census of a prison. 11 years is a long sentence but it is a possibility. Jacky

On the 1891 census I can find my ggrandmother, but cannot find her husband THOMAS HOLMES born Dauntsey, Wiltshire about 1855. It appears from the family bible that he left her March 1882 when my grandmother was one month old, he then returns eleven years later, where did he go? Any help would be appreciated.
