I would like to do a family tree for my fathers side and another one for my mothers side. Do i have to reregister for each tree. Jane

To do that I think you will have to register twice.

It gets complicated but I am doing both at the same time as one tree so to speak just take your time and do one person at a time

Jane I dont understand why you would want to do that. This is not a criticism, you can do it however you like. It just puzzled me. Good luck with your research Jim

Hi Jane It is of course your own business, and I would never try and tell you not to do something - but like Jim I don't understand why you would do it that way. (Please feel free to tell me to but out and mind my own business:-) ) If you do both parents from your tree you can view them separately anyway, you just pull up the individuals details and click on view tree, and it will show the tree starting from that person. Please do it whatever way you want - just wasn't sure if you knew that. Regards Maxine

I've done both sides of family together too, for me, it was the best way to do it. Everyone has their own method though don't they, that's what makes this hobby so interesting.
