Hello Joyce I think you will find its parish and baptismal registers before 1837. If you go to general info on this page left hand side it will give you some good info on where to look. Shirley |

Thank you shirley for the information I havent looked for the gerry side as yet as Im tring to trace were my 3rd great grandfather was born william mcdowell m 1814 stoke devon can I obtain any certificates to find out who his parents was [email protected] |

Hello Joyce I could only find a Mary A Gerry age 37 born Trusham Devon. wife of George Gerry on 1851 Devon Census. She has a son william J Gerry age 16. I will give you all the info if you want it. Shirley |
