Eileen - you're a star!! brothers and sisters for Esther Evans would be brilliant - thanks so much. I've posted Esther on the Evans site but have you seen the number of Evans on there???? Truly grateful for any info. you might have - how do you know them by the way - is there a connection?? Jacqui

Hello Debra, Sheila and Irene, I am sorry but i can only do look ups for the Portsmouth and surrounding area's sorry to have taken so long to reply, but i have been away in London for a few days. Hello Jacqueline, I will be going to the records office the later part of this week and will check for your family. I do know the brothers and sisters of Esther Evans and parents if that is of any help! sorry again to those i can not help but happy hunting! Eileen

Eileen I dont suppose you could do me a look up please. Matilda whitlock born c1830 Bitterne Southampton. Hampshire her father Thomas whitlock birth unknown I think she was living with him before she married in the september. is it possible for all the names in the household. matilda married a John Houghton born 1898 he should be living in the same area with a wife and children. I think all this comes under the south stoneham District. Thank you Debbie

Eileen - if its not too much trouble could you look up Thomas Suter and Esther Evans (eventually living in Alverstoke, Hants). Thomas was born in 1819 and Esther in 1817 they were married in 1839. They were both born in Gosport I believe. I need to know their family in 1851 - this is my grt-grt grandparents. Their address in 1851 would be useful also. Dear Eileen, I'm in Tasmania, would you look up that Hampshire site for me too please. Name of NEWELL. Thomas and Emma nee Harding. Lived in Warnford. He was a Carpenter Wheelwright. Would have been about 47. She would have been 36. I am especially interested to find children. Thanks a million. Sheila Dixon

Hi Eileen Some of the family were born in Lymington, some in Boldre and one was born at St Denis, South Stoneham. Richard and Fanny were married at Southampton. Hope that helps. Irene

I require a look up in the 1861 Hampshire Census for James Taylor, his wife Mary, son Charles, daughter Fanny and son John. I am in New Zealand. Where can I get access to this census.
