I thought I would do mine a while ago, started it like a story so when our children or grandchildren find it they will have more information on my family life than I had on my parents, I also put in what I could remember about my parents and grandparents. Then I just added each generation putting in what I found census details at the bottom of the page for each generation. I would also like to post this on line but I think there may be to much personal information. I have found online My memories of Kingsdown (Wilts) this is very near were my father came from in fact its part of the village. He wrote of his memories from childhood (from early 1900). Going up and down each street mentioning the people who lived there. It is great and I am sure there are one or two people that are related. Just wish there were more of these. Irene

Thanks, Max. I didn't think of anything as clever as making a note of the relevant post number. You live and learn. Jan.

Someone was asking about how to do this, and my reply was "go with the flow". I want to email them, but can't find the original query. I've put the first few pages of my initial thoughts on my website (probably subject to considerable changes in the future, but at least I've made a start) and was willing to give him the URL. Jan.
