Buildings Miles Locker head 36 (occupation difficult to read could be let/lap worker/maker????) Keziah Locker wife 30 Annie Locker dau 11 scholar Keziah Locker dau 10 scholar Phoebe Locker dau 4 scholar Florence Locker 2 all born Whitby Regards Sian

Lapidary is to do with stones, especially semi precious ones. Jet was a stone much liked by the Victorians for mourning jewellery. So he probably prepared the stones for the jewellers. Jan.

If I remember right, Whitby is famous for its Jet. Maggy, West Yorkshire
