I know there are quite a few of you! My relatives were originally from Ireland (Armagh and Belfast keep cropping up) but moved to Glasgow in the 1890s. From there, it seemed they scattered to Ireland, England and Australia, but don't ask me who went where and when. Do any of the following names sound familiar? Moses Steenson (b.1830), his sons Robert (b.1861), Moses, Alexander (b.1870) and Samuel. Robert married Esther (Meneeley, McNeillie, etc). Their children were Matilda, Moses, William, Samuel, Martha, Esther, Rachel and Isobel. All were born in Glasgow between 1890 and 1904. If you have any info, I'd love to hear from you!

Kathryn, Try the search section of GC that will tell you if there are any people on here researching those names.

Thanks, that sounds promising. I know at least two people went to Queensland. The details I have are pretty sketchy, but I'll email them to you tomorrow.
