Guess I must be a bit thick, my excuse is I'm an oldy, but after reading about all the help everyone is giving thought I would sign up too. I clicked on the name as it said then typed a message that I would like to join, then, (this is the silly bit) I couldn't find how to send it. I send e-mails all the time but I must have done something wrong. May

Hi ladies Us middle agers aren't much better either so heres what I did in plain untechno english! Go to Freebmd home page. Click on 'join freebmd'. Click one of the 2 links to get to the list of syndicates (ie. with or without fiche reader). Click on sydicate you want to join. A little email page thingy comes up to type your message and the send button is in the top left hand corner. Hope this helps! Jeanette, E.Yorks

But if you get stuck let me know and I'll let you have the email address of the lady who organises this syndicate direct. Regards MAxine

Hello Maxine. This is the little old lady with the bird brain. I did what you said and it says I am now registered as a FREEBMD submitter. I tried to get to the John Pain syndicate as they were looking for checkers but I got to Derek Hopkins. Will that be alright. May

Hi May - you have registered with the syndicate I am in - the scan 2 syndicate. They should contact you now, sending you explanintary emails and tutorials to work through. It may take a few days(especially as it is a bank holiday) before you get anything, but if you havn't heard from them after a week or 2 , let me know and I'll get on to them. I must admit that I have found them to be brilliant. I really don't think it makes any difference at all which syndicate you join, none of it is area related anyway, and it all achieves the same end. I think it is just a means of diividing up the work, and managing the project. Regards Maxine P.s. If you were really only interested in checking, try Freecen for Staffordshire, as I know they are after checkers, but give the tutorial a go for freeBMD first, before you decide.
