Ive just joined up ancestry.co for my free 14 day trial- why when I try to saerch the cencus does it say I have to upgrade to view and pay £69.00 havnt got anywhere in 2 days,is driving me mad- is it me?

It's probably a stupid question, Angela, but are you sure that you are logged in whenever you try to search the census. You should see Welcome, Angela near the top of the screen if you are logged in. From that point on, you should not be seeing such messages as the one you've been getting.

yes it says welcome angela ,I then log the name in I want to search for,click start search,it then tells me how many they have found on the cencus,then it says i am currentley a registerd guest, then it says upgrade now aagh!!

I had the same problem last week. It turned out (and I don't know how!) that I had two accounts set up with them and my free subscription was recorded on the other one!! They have merged my accounts together now and I'm happily searching! Sam
