Your 1837 birth date confused me momentarily, but I think I have found all but one of your people. 27 Dale Street, Hulme: Thomas Harris, head, 48, Packing case maker, born Manchester; Jane Harris, wife, 47(?), born Manchester, Hulme; William Harris, son, 23, Warehouseman, born Manchester, Hulme; Louisa Harris, dau, 17, shawl feinger (!), born Manchester, Hulme; Ellen Bowman, sister in law, 41, Grocer's assistant, born Manchester, Hulme. 2, Whittaker Street, Hulme: Arthur Harris, head, 20, warehouseman; Hannah B Harris, wife, 19; Thomas H Harris, brother, 24, picture frame gilder; Francis Harris, sister in law, 23; Arthur Harris, nephew, 2 months. All of these born in Hulme. There is another Thomas Harris aged 48 in Hulme, at 5 Barton Street, but he is a miner with wife Eliza, and none of the children matches. The only Florence in Hulme is aged 3, daughter of Phillip S and Fanny E Harris, so not whom you are seeking. Best wishes Stan Driver
