Problem with 1837online

Hi Gillian, 1837 online is where the GRO Indexes are on the internet, which means you don't have to go to the local record office to look up births marriages and deaths in order to send away for you certificates. You can search for the details on the website (for a fee) and then send your application form away for the certificate. To find the website put 1837online into your search engine, and it should send you in the right direction. Hope this helps! Paula

You've not downloaded the djvu software - you need this in order to view the images. Go back onto the site and on the browser on the left there is an option to download it. It's free and very easy. Julie

I have tried to look at some records but when I click on view, I just get a blank page with a small box in the top left hand side containing some symbols. The word "view" changes colour to red, but I haven't had any credits debited from my account. Can anyone advise me please. Terry
