Hi Debbie, Need to have a look on 1881 & 1891 census' to see who she was living at them times. She may have had one or both of her parents living with her if she had already left home. Laurie

Laurie she was living in Southwark surrey in 1901 her married name was Jane Day. It would be nice to think that the Jane born 2/1/1857 was mine as that is my little girls birth date. Now how I wonder do I try and find out which is mine. Thank you very much Debbie

Hi, I have found a Jean Naismith born 1847. Do you know any of her relatives name ie brothers, sisters or parents. I know one of my relatives was Mary Ann on the census but on another site she appears as Maria. Laurie

Hi Debbie, Try FreeBMD on the links page and try 5yrs either side on births. Also try different variations of the spelling on the surnames. If you give me their details I'll have a look tonight for you. Laurie
