Hello Julie You can write to the coroners office depending which city the death took place. and ask for a coroners report. I have had a reply from Birmingham today letting me know I can have a copy for a death in 1900. The charge is £7.70. dont't forget the SAE. Forgot to say nthey cant help ou unless you have the exact date of death. Shirley |

i'm sure this has been asked before, but how do you get coroners reports for pre 1900. is it the relevant records office or is there a central source. One of my ancestors was run over by a train and i would like to see the official report, as all i have is a copy of the newpaper story at the time Cheers Julie T:) |
