Thanks Lita I know, I am having to match them up with marriages as my Liz does not seem to have married or we cannot find the marriage as yet.At least this would pin her down. I have not long found her in Gloucester before that I was chasing her all around the country. It is a very very common name.

Lita, do you have any more information? I've had a quick look for you but need a bit more to go on. Do you know where he was born? Do you have an idea of his whereabouts between that time and 1901?
