further to my post about the kings men a while ago, i wondered if anyone knew of a website/records of soldiers missing in action or does anyone know of a site listing members of a regiment? CWGC doesn't seem to have any records of the 1/5 Norfolk regiment who went missing in Turkey in WW1. I believe one of my ancestors was one of the 250 ordinary soldiers. Cheers Julie Tebb:)

Julie Have been trying to find the website I found a while ago which referred to this incident, sorry couldn't find it again. However the BBC did a programme on this mystery disappearance of the Battalion. Try their website BBC (.)co(.)uk they can be contacted and would surely be able to tell you if there is any way of getting a video or maybe a written account. Meanwhile if I come across anything else more helpful I will let you know. Kathleen

Julie If you put "Sandringham 1/5 Norfolk Regiment" in a Search Engine you will get some interesting information on this subject. Gary

Hi Julie. Look up All the Kings Men through a search engine. I Think I saw that one publication includes the names of all the men involved
