online ordering gro

hi all, i dont know if this has been posted before so i apologise now SORRY--i have been trying to order a certificate using the online ordering service but could not get any further than proceed to checkout then i had a thought i took of all security systems (firewall etc..)and low and behold i managed to complete the process and now waiting with baited breath for the info to arrive.kaz

Hi William, I had the same problem and had to do the same. I assume that you have Norton 2003? I usually complete the form as far as payment, disable norton, then re enable it as soon as the form is accpted. It is a quirk of Norton rather than the GRO. Ann Glos

If you think it's Norton Internet Security that's blocking it (although mine doesn't) try goimg into the advanced options area, add the 1837 site to the list and the try permitting options one at a time e.g. "Allow referer". That way you only open your system up to a single site and not to all and sundry as you do by disabling the firewall completely.

We also had this problem and reported it to them, they were aware that some people were experiencing problems, and asked us to give details of our systems. They say they are looking into the matter.
