Sonja & Brian, I can enter 1837 but always have to quickly disable Norton when I get to the payment stage. I don't think i am the only one either. Although I can't think why mine should be different to yours mine is 2002. Ann glos

Hi Brian My problem is not getting into the site, it's trying to give them some of my hard earned cash. Terry

I run Norton AV and never have to disable it to enter 1837. I would be reluctant to enter any site that I couldn't keep the AV running. Sonja

You need to open Norton and click on Norton security. you should then get a message in the lower RH side saying N Sec on or off. If it says on (as it probably will) click the on and it will go to off. You will get a warning about disabling the security programme and being unprotected. Click ok. Proceed with payment then reverse the above to turn it on again. Ann Glos

Terry, There's a chance the button might still be there even if you don't see it. If you mouse over just below the entry box for the "Issue Number (Switch/Solo)" does the mouse pointer turn into a hand? If so, try clicking then. That is where the submit button should be. If that doesn't work, maybe someone can talk you through temporarily disabling Norton. Crista

Hi Crista No red submit button that I can see. Problem is, this is my son's computor and I know he has anti virus programmes installed, but being a bit of a computor dinosaur, I don't know what to do next - can't ask the lad, it's Friday night and he's out. Terry

Terry, There should be a red Submit button at the bottom of the payment window. If it doesn't do anything make sure you don't have Norton Antivirus running. You will get an email if any payment has gone through. Crista

Hi Maxine The site still shows me as having no credit. Any ideas as to what I do next ? Terry

Hi Terry Don't worry , now that they've had your fiver they will happily deduct a credit every time you look at a record, and you will see your credits swiftly diminish in the top left hand corner of the screen! Just go ahaead and search now! Regards Maxine

Ok, so I just filled in all the payment details on the 1837 site but now what - there doesn't appear to be any enter or continue button to click on. Does 1837 really want my fiver or am I missing something ?? Terry - computor dinosaur
